The phytosanitary measures approved internationally and established in the NOM-144-SEMARNAT-2017 for the treatment of wood packaging used in international trade are heat (HT) and methyl bromide fumigation (MB). The heat treatment (HT) consists of heating the wood packaging according to a time and temperature program that allows a minimum temperature to be reached at the center of the table of 56°C for a minimum of 30 minutes.
